BIOGRAPHY

Brian McConnell is no stranger to the music business. At the age of 25, Brian formed Los Angeles based rock band Super Tone. Super Tone quickly became a staple on the Sunset Strip and in the LA club scene. McConnell performed many sold out shows at the Roxy Theater, The Whisky a Go-Go, The Viper Room, House of Blues and even the Playboy Mansion. Robby Krieger (The Doors) became not only a fan, but a mentor to McConnell. Krieger even joined McConnell onstage to perform rowdy Doors covers at sold out shows. Krieger is also featured on McConnell’s LA anthem “Hollywood 911”.

When Brian met Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth, he put his own music career on hold and took a job as David Lee’s personal assistant and tour manager. After touring with David Lee for almost a decade, McConnell played an instrumental role in the 2007 reunion of Van Halen.

McConnell hung up his management hat in 2009 and moved to Nashville to resume his music career, where he started writing with some of music row’s biggest songwriters. Brian has been performing 200+ shows a year all over the world, including resorts in Tahiti, Mexico and the Virgin Islands. From Key west to Flora-Bama, from Maine to Texas, you can find Brian strumming his acoustic guitar with the best of them.

Most recently McConnell has been recording at Saxman Stusios in Nashville, Tennessee.  McConnell's debut EP titled “Love Letters” was released in 2021.

McConnell has shared the stage with artists including Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Dustin Lynch, The Doors and many more.
